ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû Learning Academy (LLA)

The ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû Learning Academy (LLA) is the central hub for professional development at ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû. Partnering with the LLA ensures your events are set up for enrollment in Workday Learning and promoted across campus, including through the ÎçÒ¹¸£Àû Digest.

Virtual Events in Workday Learning

• Teams Integration: Workday Learning is integrated with Microsoft Teams, no need to provide your own link.
• Attendance Tracking: Attendance is automatically recorded in each participant’s Workday Learning transcript. Only enrolled participants will be tracked, so do not share Teams links.
• Recordings: If you record a session and want it available on-demand, send the file to the Learning Academy. 
• Instructor Responsibility: Instructors must start and end the Teams meeting to ensure accurate time tracking in transcripts.

On-Ground Events

• Event facilitators may:
1. Download a sign-in sheet before the event, or
2. Request an attendance sheet from the Learning Academy.
• Instructors must return the completed sheet promptly, so attendance is properly logged in Workday Learning.

Submitting a Course or Program

To promote your departmental professional development opportunities in Workday Learning, email the Learning Academy with:

• Training name
• Dates, times, and modality of each session
• A brief description (include session details if multiple)
• Intended audience (e.g., All Employees, Staff, Adjuncts, Faculty, etc.)
• Contact person for questions

Event FAQs

• How do I join an online event?
  After enrolling in Workday Learning, you’ll receive an Outlook calendar invitation with a Teams link. Use that link to join.
• How do I view my registrations?
  Visit your Workday Learning transcripts page to see enrollments (not started, in progress, or completed). Each includes a link to the course homepage.
• How do I cancel an enrollment?
  Go to the course homepage, select Drop Course, and follow the instructions.
